1. Information We Collect
Sr collects the minimum information necessary to provide the file-sharing service:
- Files you upload — stored temporarily in encrypted cloud storage and automatically deleted after expiration.
- Device identifier — a random, anonymous identifier used solely to associate uploads with your device so you can manage them.
- Subscription status — managed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect or store any payment information.
- Advertising identifiers — if you are not a premium subscriber, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and related data to serve ads. This only occurs after you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Premium subscribers see no ads.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the file-sharing service.
- To enforce share limits (file count, size, expiration) based on your subscription tier.
- To automatically delete expired shares and their associated files.
3. Data Storage & Security
Files are stored on Cloudflare R2 and metadata is stored in Cloudflare D1. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Files are automatically purged after the expiration period you select when creating a share.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Files are only accessible to people who have the share link and, if set, the correct access code. For free (non-subscriber) users, we use Google AdMob to display ads, and limited device and advertising data may be shared with Google and its ad partners as described in the Advertising section below.
5. Advertising
For users who are not premium subscribers, we display advertising through Google AdMob. To do this, Google may collect and process certain data, including your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), approximate location derived from IP, and ad interaction data, in order to serve and measure ads.
- App Tracking Transparency — on first launch we ask for your permission before any tracking identifier is used for personalized ads. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Consent (GDPR/EEA) — in regions that require it, we present a consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform) so you can choose how your data is used for ads.
- Non-personalized ads — if you decline tracking or consent, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.
- Premium subscribers — see no ads, and no advertising identifiers are collected for ad purposes.
For details on how Google uses this data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and Google AdMob & privacy.
6. Data Retention
Uploaded files and their metadata are automatically deleted after the share expires (1 hour to 7 days depending on your plan). You may also manually delete your shares at any time from within the app.
7. Third-Party Services
- Apple StoreKit — for subscription management. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare — for hosting, storage, and CDN. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Google AdMob — for advertising shown to non-subscribers. See Google's Privacy Policy.
8. Children's Privacy
Sr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
